A Novato man is being held after police say they found evidence connecting him to the molestations of two young girls in separate incidents at a Corte Madera bookstore.
Authorities booked 32-year-old Jamie Eugene Jacinto on Wednesday at Marin County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.
According to Twin Cities police, a man reached under an 8-year-old girl's dress at a Barnes & Noble bookstore in June after she didn't answer whether her parents were nearby. Police also believe Jacinto may have exposed himself to a 5-year-old girl at the bookstore last month.
Twin Cities investigators obtained a warrant for Jacinto's arrest after searching his home late last month but would not say what was found.
