The baby Jesus figure has disappeared from a New York City suburb's nativity scene.
Stony Point Town Supervisor Phil Marino told the Journal News on Tuesday that he suspects thieves swiped the figure from the Town Hall holiday display. He said, "If someone did it as a prank, I don't find it funny."
The apparent theft comes a year after the display was vandalized and a menorah next to it was knocked over and broken.
Marino said the baby Jesus was likely stolen over the weekend.
Stony Point is about 32 miles northwest of Manhattan in Rockland County.
