The bodies of seven men were recovered Monday near Fernie in British Columbia's Elk Valley, about 550 miles east of Vancouver, where the snowmobilers were swept away when avalanches hit Sunday.
All 11 snowmobilers were buried by the heavy snow, but three from the group clawed through the avalanche debris and reached safety on Sunday.
