FOX Car Report has driven a lot of new vehicles this year. Not all of them, but we tried. Some impressed us more than others.
The minuscule Smart Fortwo and the $250,000 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 turned heads from both ends of the price spectrum, while the natural gas powered-Honda Civic GX freed us from imported oil. A hybrid Lexus LS600h almost managed to park itself, but it took a police officer to get the Dodge Challenger SRT8 to the side of the road.
From a collection that includes the Porsche 911, BMW M3 convertible, and the sublimely cool Mustang Bullitt, it’s almost impossible to pick favorites, but we’ve given it our best shot.
So, as we sit back and reflect on the year gone by, here is a list — in no particular order — of five of the vehicles that for one reason or another we just can’t get out of our minds. If you’re a regular reader, one of them is sure to surprise you.
