CAMDEN, N.J. – The jury in the trial of five men accused of plotting to attack soldiers on the Army's Fort Dix plans to deliberate over the weekend.
The jurors say they finished their third day of deliberations Friday without a verdict and that they would return Saturday.
U.S. District Judge Robert Kugler say the jurors told him they were "making progress."
The jury is being sequestered during deliberations.
Five foreign-born Muslims face charges including conspiracy to kill military personnel and attempted murder.
Federal authorities portray the case as an example of efforts to stop terrorist attacks before they happen.
Defense lawyers say the men, who lived for years in the Philadelphia suburb of Cherry Hill, were not planning anything.
