Report: White House Apologizes to Elisabeth Hasselbeck for Snub

Elisabeth Hasslebeck is not a woman to snub! Just ask the White House.

On yesterday’s episode of “The View,” the host complained that she didn’t receive her annual invite to the White House Christmas party.

“Maybe I didn’t do enough for the Republican party this year,” she said.

“I love Christmas cards,” Hasselbeck added. “I love getting them. There is one in particular that I usually like, and it’s an invitation to the White House Christmas party. Not the big one but the 20th one down the road that you get the leftovers at the party. I’d be going to that one, No invitation this year.”

So upset were the folks at the White House when they heard that the conservative cutie had a "bone to pick" with them, that they reportedly called Hasselbeck to apologize, Us magazine reports.

“Following [the] live show, Elisabeth received a call from The White House and they both had a great conversation,” Us quoted Karl T. Nilsson, the publicity director for “The View” as saying. “The President’s office apologized and explained that she and her husband were indeed invited to the White House for Christmas and were sorry that it did not arrive. It was simply an oversight.”

You’re no one until the White House sends you an apology.
