Two people were killed after a single-engine plane crashed Saturday afternoon in Sebring, Fla., MyFOXTampaBay.com reported.

The plane appeared, based on aerial TV coverage, to have crashed into Golf Hammock, a residential golf community.

The plane broke into three parts, spread over about 100 yards, MyFOXTampaBay.com reported.

It wasn't immediately clear whether there were any survivors or what caused the crash.
