Shaw says about 5,000 homes and businesses are without electricity in the Denison area. He says two or three homes were destroyed.

Sherman Fire Department Chief Jeff Jones says at least 2,000 customers in Sherman and northern Grayson County are without electricity. He says at least 20 homes and businesses were damaged.
