PITTSBURGH – A detention hearing has been delayed for a man arrested on federal drug trafficking charges during a suburban Pittsburgh raid that ended with the killing of an FBI agent.
Law enforcement agents arrested 39-year-old Robert Korbe on Wednesday during a broad Pittsburgh-area sweep targeting suspected drug traffickers.
A detention hearing was to be held Monday. Korbe did not have an attorney and the hearing was rescheduled for Wednesday.
Korbe's wife, 40-year-old Christina Korbe, is charged with homicide. Police say she shot and killed FBI Special Agent Sam Hicks. Police say Korbe told them she thought her home was being burglarized and that she was shooting a home invader.
Agents say they clearly identified themselves before forcefully entering the home.
