Now the struggling U.S. "Kath & Kim" spin-off airing on NBC is banking on "Baywatch" babe Pamela Anderson to inject some life into the series. And the sitcom could do with some help.
Americans continue to switch off, with the show attracting just 5.1 million viewers on NBC this week.
This is well below the 7.5 million Americans who tuned in to watch the Oct. 9 premier.
Despite the dismal ratings, NBC surprised everyone two weeks ago when it announced it would not kill the show, instead ordering a full season of episodes.
Today they revealed buxom blonde Anderson would guest star alongside the show's cast, led by actresses Molly Shannon and Selma Blair.
