An 18-year-old Manassas woman has pleaded guilty to arranging with her mother to have her father killed.

Jessenia Blasini pleaded guilty in Prince William County Circuit Court on Thursday to conspiracy to commit capital murder, solicitation to commit capital murder and malicious wounding.

Authorities say she woke her father on May 23, saying she heard noises in the backyard. When he walked outside, police say 20-year-old Thomas Bennett hit him several times on the head with a baseball bat. The victim survived.

Investigators later learned Bennett was dating Blasini and had been hired to kill the man.

Blasini's sentencing is slated for Jan. 22. Her mother, 36-year-old April Blasini, has a trial set for Nov. 25.

Bennett has a Dec. 4 court date.
