A scheme involving the shipment of more than 22 pounds of marijuana through the U-S mail landed two Dothan residents in jail.
According to Dothan police and U.S. postal inspectors, officers seized the pot during a traffic stop and arrested 34-year-old Albuendaa Hall.
Also arrested was 30-year-old Equanda Chambers. Both were charged with trafficking a controlled substance.
Authorities said the marijuana, valued at almost $40,000 on the streets, was shipped from Texas.
Chambers and Hall were placed in the Houston County Jail on bonds totaling $60,000 each.
