A small-time actor accused of producing child pornography images of himself having sex with underage boys in Thailand has pleaded guilty.

Wayne Nelson Corliss was the subject of an international manhunt earlier this year after authorities said he was linked to the computer images.

Corliss pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District in Newark to five counts. They include production and possession of child pornography and traveling to foreign countries to engage in illicit sexual activities.

Each count carries a sentence of between 10 and 20 years in prison. The Union City resident has been held without bail since his arrest in May.

Corliss was described by friends and colleagues as a part-time actor who worked painting faces at children's parties and used to dress up as Santa Claus.
