Amanda Knox, the American student suspected of taking part in the murder last year of Meredith Kercher, her British roommate, told her parents in leaked conversations that her cell mates harass her and ask for sex, “because I’m pretty and they like me,” the Daily Mail reported Friday.

The 21-year-old’s weekly visits with her parents are recorded, and in the leaked conversations she reportedly told them her cell mate “whispered to me one night if I would like to have sex with her.”

“It’s because I’m pretty and they like me,” she added.

Knox, nicknamed Foxy Knoxy, is being held along with fellow suspect Rudy Guede, 21, at a prison outside Perugia, Italy, where the murder took place last November, the Daily Mail reported.

She told her parents she believes the murder suspects in jail with her are innocent, and enjoys the company of some of her fellow prisoners.

Kercher, a student from Leeds University in England, was stabbed in the neck. Prosecutors say Knox, Guede, and Knox’s boyfriend at the time, Raffaele Sollecito, strangled and stabbed her to death.
