LAKE HOLDEN, Fla. – Authorities are looking for a rapist who they say has attacked three women in the same area of Orange County.
The latest attack occurred early Thursday morning when authorities say a woman was going to her car outside her home. She told police she saw a man and went back inside and locked the door. The man broke in and attacked her, but she was able to fight him off.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office believes the attacker could be the same man who raped two other women, one on Sept. 19 and one on Oct. 14. Both rapes happened less than a mile from Thursday's attack.
Deputies have checked registered sex offenders in the area with little luck. Authorities are waiting for lab results to come back from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
