Teen Accidentally Shoots Self While Talking on Phone

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A West Palm Beach teen accidentally shot himself while talking on the phone, authorities said.

Investigators believe the 16-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, was home alone Tuesday night. It appears the teen was talking on the phone and playing with a handgun when it went off.

He was found dead at the scene.
