Officials say six middle school football players have been injured when antifreeze from a broken water hose sprayed on them northwest of Dallas.
The Sanger Middle School students were getting off their school bus after an out-of-town game when the hose broke Thursday night.
Tom Reedy with the Denton County Sheriff's Department tells The Associated Press four of the six were taken by medical helicopter to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Three suffered eye injuries while a 14-year-old had burns to both legs.
He says he has no information on the other two players.
Sanger is about 50 miles northeast of Dallas.
