The mysterious illness that has been plaguing singer Janet Jackson and has caused her to cancel a string of tour dates has been revealed to be migraines, People magazine is reporting.
According to People, the 42-year-old singer has been suffering from vestibular migraines, an rare condition that causes vertigo.
But Jackson is now reportedly receiving treatment for the condition, and is anxious to get back on stage, People said.
In a statement obtained by People, manager Kenneth Cread said Jackson is "feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again."
"(Jackson) is a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans what they expect," Cread said.
The singer is scheduled to resume her Rock Witchu Tour Wednesday night in Washington D.C. Other tour dates that have been postponed will reportedly be rescheduled, People said.
