A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday morning in the Court of Common Pleas for a Red Lion man accused of killing his 13-year-old second cousin and her dog.
Thirty-one-year-old David Goldsborough was charged Friday in the fatal stabbings of Destiny Leifheit and her Chihuahua, Chico.
Authorities say the girl was killed with a 12-inch samurai knife.
Goldsborough is charged with first-degree murder, animal cruelty, two counts of possession of a deadly weapon during a felony and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
He is being held without bail on the murder charge.
