Someone needs to tell Tara Reid that the writers' strike has been over for quite a while now, because it seems the "American Pie" actress didn't get the memo.

"I totally plan to go back into acting once the strike stops," Reid told Pop Tarts last week at Eva Longoria-Parker's Padres Contra El Cancer's 8th Annual "El Sueno De Esperanza" benefit gala in Hollywood. "The economy is so bad right now that people are afraid to put money back into acting. Even the shows that seem new, they really shot six months ago. So when it's all back up again, I will go back into it. That's my heart," she said.

So instead of performing, Tara has been busy in her new career as a fashion designer ... inspired by "The Secret."

"I have a clothing line coming out called Mantra by Tara Reid. It's like the book 'The Secret' — the whole line is about colors," she explained. "Red means love, blue means love, white is peace, black means protection. So when you wear these colors, you might attract love, or green, you'll get lucky tonight. You put the energy out there, that's what the line is all about."

Inside the swanky soiree, party host (and spokeswoman for the foundation) Longoria-Parker awkwardly addressed Reid and her new boyfriend. The "Desperate Housewife" once again flatly denied that she was pregnant, although being a parent is definitely on the agenda for Eva and her NBA hubby Tony Parker.

"People always say 'I want a boy! I want a girl!' I just think, 'Oh my gosh, I just want a healthy child,'" she told us. "That's truly a gift. If you're a healthy adult, to complain about anything in life that's so minute, you really have to be grateful for everything that you have and do something with it."

J-Lo Mad at Marc the Night Before Renewing Vows?

Just because they have babies at home doesn't mean Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony aren't allowed to have a wild night out in Las Vegas — although things didn't go quite the way Lopez had intended.

The music moguls (plus Jenny's mom) were spotted by Pop Tarts' spies celebrating Anthony's 40th birthday by watching Criss "Mindfreak" Angel's new show, followed by partying at a luxe VIP table at LAX nightclub on Friday. But two stops obviously weren't enough for the team, who snuck into the Bellagio's The Bank nightclub around 1:30 a.m.

We're told an army of security guards was brought in to protect them from a sea of screaming fans all attempting to get cell phone snaps. In her true diva style, "Jenny From the Block" requested food be delivered to the uber-posh night spot, so the staff hurriedly had Kobe sliders, grilled cheese and french fries brought over from FIX Restaurant & Bar.

But according to an insider, Lopez soon insisted they leave as she was apparently less than thrilled with Marc.

"Marc seemed more interested in chatting to the guys in the table beside them," said our source. "Jennifer made it clear she wasn't having it."

Lopez seems to have gotten over it as the two continued the celebrations the following night by attending their first-ever Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls show, where Anthony apparently couldn't stop showing off his own moves.

Lopez and Anthony moved their party to a VIP stage table at PURE and got down on the dance floor until 3 a.m. But according to People magazine, just 15 minutes after leaving, things got even more interesting. Almost four years after tying the knot, the Tinseltown twosome renewed their wedding vowels in a joint "spur-of-the-moment" ceremony with New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran and his wife Jessica (with whom they had been partying) at Caesars Palace's Forum Tower Penthouse.

Sheryl Crow to Obama/McCain: Let's Talk About Cancer

Sheryl Crow combined her passions for performing and building awareness about breast cancer by headlining the free concert to celebrate 10th anniversary of Yoplait’s Save Lids to Save Lives program in L.A. on Friday night.

However, the songstress and breast cancer survivor had something to say to presidential hopefuls John McCain and Barack Obama about what needs to be brought up in the next presidential debate.

"The war has really taken everybody’s attention and the economy obviously the most, but there are issues like cancer where the funding has gone so desperately low that events like this really matter," Crow told Tarts. "Until we get out of this war and we get our economy straight, all that money that we were hoping for is just going to allude us."

Crow's close friends in the celeb world such as Cynthia Nixon, David Arquette, Laura Dern, David Spade, Molly Sims and Rita Wilson also stepped out to support the A-list musician.

"I’m here tonight to see my good friend Sheryl Crow. I would step out to see her do anything in the world," Wilson said. "But tonight it’s particularly important because of Yoplait Saves Lives. It’s all about awareness and anytime you can get someone out there saying 'get a mammogram,' don’t be afraid."

Yoplait will donate 10 cents for each pink lid mailed in before Dec. 31 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, up to $1.5 million with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000.
