WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A single ticket sold in Michigan has matched the winning numbers for the $42 million multi-state Mega Millions lottery jackpot.
The Michigan Lottery says the ticket matching all the winning numbers from Friday night's Mega Million drawing was sold at a store in Macomb County's Washington Township, about 24 miles north of Detroit.
The next Mega Millions drawing, Tuesday night, will feature a jackpot of $12 million.
In addition to the grand prize winner, five players won second prizes of $250,000 apiece. None of those tickets were sold in Michigan. Another 29 tickets, including two bought in Michigan, won third prizes of $10,000 apiece.
The winning numbers from Friday night's drawing were: 13, 28, 32, 41 and 52. The Mega Ball number was 16.
