A hunt is over for a 22-year-old New Jersey man accused of killing his girlfriend's 8-month-old daughter.

Authorities found Jose Flores-Rivera of Passaic County in Newburgh, N.Y., after an intensive search.

Flores-Rivera is charged with murder and child endangerment in the death of little Jocelyn Almonte.

The baby was found unconscious Saturday.

Authorities say the child's mother, Macrina Enriquez, told them Flores-Rivera was alone with the baby after the couple showered in their Clifton, N.J., home Friday night.

Flores-Rivera walked out of the hospital and disappeared shortly after the girl was pronounced dead.

Authorities say the baby died of blunt force trauma.
