A Tempe couple who brought a baby along on a drug deal have been arrested on child abuse and drug charges.

Justine Rabell's 1-year-old son was in the back seat of a car when she and Kevin Folk went to a Chandler grocery store's parking lot for a drug deal, according to court documents.

Rabell exchanged 46 Ecstasy tablets for $700, court records say.

Folk told investigators that selling drugs and accepting money from relatives was the couple's only source of income for the past two months.

Folk told detectives he didn't think about the danger he would put the child in by taking him to a drug deal, according to court documents.

The court documents did not indicate who took custody of the child, and Chandler police did not return a call seeking comment.
