Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron and Michelle Obama are three of the 10 best-dressed women of 2008, according to People magazine.
“Classic or rebel, girl-next-door or vamp, each of these women made all the right fashion moves this year,” People said of its choices.

Pop singer Rihanna was selected for her “sugar and spice” style and her “sophisticated mix of glamorous gowns and funky dresses.
Actress Gywneth Paltrow, whom People dubbed “better than ever,” earned praise for “revving up her classic look” and shortening her famously long locks, as well as her hemlines.
“Refiner Rocker” Fergie has come “a long way from her belly-baring days,” People said, while actress Anne Hathaway earned the title of “young and glam” for her style choices.
“Classic and confident” Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, also made this year’s list, as she “wowed along the campaign trial with confidence in polished looks” that evoke other famous former first ladies, People said.

Rounding out the list were actresses Kate Hudson for her “haute hippie, effortless taste,” Eva Mendes for her “pretty and polished” choices, Charlize Theron for her daring “bold and beautiful” threads and Sarah Jessica Parker for perfecting the “expert eclectic look.”
