TRENTON, N.J. – The divorce saga involving New Jersey's former gay governor and his ex-wife appears to be over.

Matos' move brings finality to a protracted, bitter and very public parting set in motion four years ago when McGreevey announced he is gay.
Dina Matos' claim alleged that McGreevey duped her into marriage to advance his political career. It was all that remained of the couple's court battle after their divorce was finalized last month.
Matos issued a statement saying she needs to ends the case for the good of their 6-year-old daughter, Jacqueline.
The couple share custody of their only child, a first-grader.
