Firefighters say four people have been found dead after a house fire in Lancaster, Calif.

Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Sam Padilla says firefighters went to a home shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday and saw smoke coming from vents in an attached garage.

Padilla says it took firefighters about 20 minutes to douse the fire. The bodes were then found inside.

A fire alarm was sounding in the house.

There's no word yet on the identity of the victims or what caused the fire.
