A man stole cash from a woman's purse as she sat dazed in her car after crashing into a tree Saturday in Melbourne, Australia, police said.
The 37-year-old crashed into the tree in Kilsyth, in Melbourne's eastern fringe, causing minor damage to the car.
She had been feeling dizzy and had tried to pull over before crashing, police said in a statement.
The woman told police that she was semiconscious in her car and remembers a man opening the passenger door, asking if she was all right and then leaving.
Later, she realized her purse, which she had placed on the passenger seat before starting her trip, was lying on the ground with cash missing.
The man is described as being in his late teens to early 20s, with blond-tipped hair and a goatee.
