ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Police say an explosion on the outskirts of the Pakistani capital has killed at least seven people and wounded 20.
The cause of Tuesday night's blast was under investigation. Police said a large crater and other damage indicated a bomb went off.
Police official Kamran Adil confirmed the casualties.
Several deadly suicide attacks in Pakistan recently have been claimed by the Taliban as revenge for military offensives in the northwest.
