Dustin Diamond, who played Samuel "Screech" Powers on "Saved by the Bell," promises to detail "sexual escapades among cast members" in a tell-all about the early '90s teeny-bopper show, New York magazine reports.

"Behind the Bell" promises to detail "sexual escapades among cast members, drug use, and hardcore partying," on the show, which featured Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Lark Voorhies, Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley and Diamond as students of fictional Bayside High School and ran from 1989-1993.

Diamond has been the subject of controversy in recent years, releasing a sex tape and earning enemies on the fifth season of the VH1 reality show "Celebrity Fit Club," where he called fellow contestant Kimberly Locke "a loser on another show ["American Idol"].

The book, written with help from ghostwriter Alan Goldscher, will be released by Gotham Books.
