Ethan Hawke and wife Ryan Shawhughes welcomed daughter Clementine Jane Hawke last Friday, his rep told USmagazine.com.
The actor, 37, met Shawhughes, 28, when she became a nanny for his children Maya, 10, and Levon, 6, after his divorce from Uma Thurman. In January, his rep confirmed that the two were expecting a child.
Hawke and Shawhughes were married in a small ceremony in New York City in June.
Thurman is preparing for her own upcoming nupitals to financier boyfriend Arpad "Arki" Busson. Hawke, known for roles in "Dead Poets Society" and "Reality Bites," next stars in "Real Men Cry" with Amanda Peet and Mark Ruffalo.
