LOS ANGELES – Megan Fox is still one of the slimmest starlets in Tinseltown, but the ubersexy screen siren was sporting a few more much-needed curves beneath her “Star Wars” T-shirt and jeans at the FOX Television Critics Association party in Santa Monica, Calif., on Monday night.
Fox was forced to gain 10 pounds in three weeks for her role in the second “Transformers” movie following a dramatic and dangerous weight loss for her last film, “Jennifer’s Body."
“I should have toned up for 'Transformers' but I’m really lazy. I had to put on weight,” she told Pop Tarts. “I’d lost a lot of weight and got really scrawny, but I was told I had to put on size for 'Transformers' because Michael [Bay, the director] doesn’t like skinny girls.”
But what dangerous dieting regime did Megan use to pop the pounds in the first place?
“I just stopped eating,” she said. “I don’t eat very healthy anyway — I have a serious sugar tooth, so now I eat red-velvet cake before I go to bed every night, and if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.”
The filming for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” kicked off just last month, and while the 22-year-old was under strict orders not to say too much, it seems like there will be a few disappointed male admirers.
“There are no big love scenes,” Fox said. “At this point Shi and I have been dating for two years so we’re at the bickering stage, like an old married couple.”
Gabrielle Union Impressed With Eddie Murphy’s Smooching Skills
Eddie Murphy was a no-show at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest flick “Meet Dave” last Tuesday night, but co-star Gabrielle Union was far from upset — she’ll never forget what it’s like to get very close to the superstar.
“He was a great kisser,” Union told Pop Tarts. “He brushes and he flosses. That’s all I can ask for.”
But things weren’t so sweet for the starlet leading up to their smooching scene.
“I was terrified. I was like 'he’s going to think that I’m such a nerd,' and especially the day I had to kiss him, I was nervous for the whole time,” she admitted. “I’ve worked with Will Smith and Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence. They grew as we grew, but Eddie was Eddie, he has been Eddie for a long time, so it definitely nerve-racking.”
Miley Cyrus Plays Up Good Girl Image
Despite more racy pictures of Miley Cyrus hitting the Web over the weekend, the Disney dame was all smiles on the set of her upcoming flick “Hannah Montana: The Movie” on Monday.
Cyrus was caught cuddling up close to her grandma during her breaks, although we’re told she definitely didn’t need consoling.
“Miley is very professional and wasn’t letting any other nonsense get in the way,” a source said.
According to a rep for the 15-year-old, the pics which just emerged showing Cyrus in a white T-shirt while showering are “old photos and old news."
Nicky Hilton, Kardashians Celebrate Summer of Love
It seems Paris Hilton’s pal and Hollywood’s hottest model/designer/DJ Caroline D’Amore will be strutting single for a little while longer. Pop Tarts has been told that 24-year-old D’Amore and filmmaker Matthew Ross just recently broken off their engagement.
D’Amore headed out for the first time since the rumored split on Wednesday night, living it up with pal Nicky Hilton and her beau, Dave Katzenberg, at the Hale Bob Summer of Love soiree.
Pop Tarts also spotted the very loving Hilton and Katzenberg basking by the pool on Sunday at the Lia Sophia Project Beach House in Malibu, along with reality royalty Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and Brittny Gastineau.
Speaking of Brittny, we’re told she had to put up with being hit on all afternoon by Stephen Dorff, who eventually moved (unsuccessfully) on to the very-taken Christina Milian.
“He’s based in Miami,” Milian said of her boyfriend, speaking with Tarts while getting a hand massage from the girls in the Garnier tent. “We go back and forth, we make it work.”
The “he” happens to be big-wig music producer Dre, one half of the “Cool & Dre” label, whom she has been dating for more than two years. So are there any wedding bells in the works?
“No way,” Milian laughed.
