Storms Cause Flooding at New Indianapolis Colts Stadium

Thunderstorms that hit Indianapolis overnight caused some flooding at Lucas Oil Stadium, the new home of the Indianapolis Colts that's scheduled to open next month.

The Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority has scheduled a news conference for Wednesday afternoon to discuss the damage.

The authority says crews were still assessing the damage at midday.

WTHR-TV reports that a contractor says the storm left 3 feet of water in a room containing video and security equipment.

The $700 million stadium is scheduled to host the 2012 Super Bowl.
