"The Hills" starlet Heidi Montag reveals her desire to release a Christian album, compares herself to Jesus and says she hopes to become a missionary in Africa in an interview with USA Today.
Montag, 21, also professes innocence in the scandal that caused an end to her friendship with fellow "Hills" star Lauren Conrad.
Montag and boyfriend Spencer Pratt, 24, allegedly leaked that Conrad had created a sex tape with ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler.
"I don't even want to talk about that," Montag tells the paper. "There were rumors about a sex tape, but I had nothing to do with that. God knows the truth in all of this, and at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters. Jesus was persecuted, and I'm going to get persecuted, ya know?"
Montag also tells USA Today she has "always felt this crazy connection to God."
In August, Montag says she plans to visit Africa with Pratt, where cameras will roll as they "feed children and help build things."
When asked about Pratt, with whom she has had an off-and-on relationship, Montag says she "I fell in love with him the second I saw him. He's the most amazing person to exist. Everything you could ever want in a best friend, soul mate and boyfriend."
Montag has created a fashion line, Heidiwood, and is releasing her first official single, "Fashion."Click here to read more from USA Today.
