"Austin Powers" actor Verne Troyer is suing TMZ for violating his rights by publishing and airing portions of his sex tape, TMZ reports.
The actor, who played Mini Me in "Austin Powers," claims in the $20 million suit that TMZ infringed on his copyright and trademark and violated his privacy by showing portions of the tape on TMZ.com and TMZ TV.
In addition to damages, Troyer, 39, is asking for an injunction prohibiting further distribution of the video.

The suit was filed Thursday in L.A.'s U.S. District Court. Troyer claims the tape was stolen and given to Richard Blatt, who was responsible for distributing Paris Hilton's infamous sex tape in 2004. Blatt is listed as a co-defendant.
Troyer is currently starring in "The Love Guru" with "Austin Powers" co-star Mike Myers.
