LOS ANGELES – Emmy Rossum is the epitome of the ultimate Hollywood role model with her clean-cut appearance, sweet personality and ability to stay out of trouble in Tinseltown. But it seems the 21-year-old screen sweetheart won't rule out flashing at least some flesh for a film role.
"But I don't think I could ever do full-frontal," Rossum told Pop Tarts at last week's Cartier Loveday party. "That's probably the one thing I couldn't do. Touch wood."
"The Day After Tomorrow" actress released her debut album last year, but she has no intention of stepping away from the screen to focus more on a singing career.
Rossum also has been named as an ambassador for the jewelry company’s LOVE campaign and chose Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation as her charity of choice. The issue, she says, is close to her heart.
"My godmother had breast cancer and recently underwent a double mastectomy," she said. "She's now cancer-free so I am here for her and to hope we can help others, too."
Cameron Diaz and Diddy Cause Street Fights
Even though Cameron Diaz and Diddy recently were rumored to have a little fling-thing going on, they chose to dine separately at West Hollywood’s trendiest sushi spot, Nobu, on Wednesday night.
Looking stunning in black, Diaz noshed happily with a mystery married man — but caused quite the crisis on the street outside. Restaurant management and security continually had to go outside to push the packs of paps off the property and had to get physical with the aggressive snappers.
As Cameron’s car was leaving, we’re told fights broke out between security and the paparazzi and one eyewitness described it to Tarts as "the worst pap conflict they’d ever seen."
But a half an hour after Cam cruised out, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst moved to the outside area to make way for Diddy, who came in just before 11 p.m. (surprisingly) with only one lovely lady in his entourage.
David Beckham Busted in His Briefs
Millions of ladies (and men) across the world now have the opportunity to see what only a select few previously were exposed to — David Beckham in his underwear.
On his first visit to San Francisco last week, the soccer star unveiled his ad campaign for Armani. And even though he’s worked a lot in front of the lens, things were a little more daunting this time.
"I was very apprehensive and slightly nervous. I've done quite a few photo shoots before, but never done any in my underwear, so I wasn't sure about the whole thing," Becks admitted, adding that his whole family loves life in America and appreciates how friendly everybody has been.
But more importantly, is Becks really a briefs boy?
"I think wearing boxers or briefs always depends on the occasion," he said coyly. "It depends how you feel when you wake up in the morning or when you are going out in the evening."
The British athlete/model obviously is pretty proud of his photo being blown up everywhere. On Thursday David posted a blog on his official page saying that he was "amazed" by the amount of people who turned up to see his big billboard outside of the Macy’s department store.
Seen & Heard: Joel Madden Won’t Marry Nicole (Yet)
Joel Madden had event organizers in a panic at Wednesday morning’s Muscle Milk/Oakley/Suzuki Celebrity Ride Day when he finally turned up to DJ — over an hour late.
We’re told Nicole Richie’s fiancé offered to stay and make up for the missed time (without even being asked) and seemed a bit envious of other riders.
Speaking of Nic, Madden told People magazine he has no plans to wed the new mama just yet.
But just a few hours earlier in the wee hours of the morning, chaos was going on at rapper T-Pain’s post-BET Awards party held at a private residence in the Hollywood Hills. (Mind you, Joel apparently was partying the night away, which explains why he had a late start.)
Hundreds of party peeps heard about the hip-hoppin’ affair, causing traffic madness and a valet crisis as even Rumer Willis reportedly had to wait over 15 minutes to have her car taken.
Pop Tarts also has been told that "Big Shots" star Dylan McDermott gunned up in a very vintage vehicle (which was spitting out dust) and got a bit upset when told he couldn't drive his not-so-charming car any closer to the mansion.
Meanwhile in New York on Tuesday evening, things were slightly more civilized at the VeeV Acai Spirit Art of Elysium event at Milk Gallery. The likes of Joshua Jackson, Brittny Gastineau and Danny Masterson sipped and schmoozed the hours away, but apparently all eyes were on Elijah Wood and model Riley Keough, who got close for lots of pics together both inside and on the carpet — her boyfriend, Ryan Cabrera, was nowhere to be seen.
But over in Vegas on Tuesday night, homegrown rock band The Killers were spotted getting their groove on at PURE’s Summer Surprise Series soiree. Lead singer Brandon Powers had partygoers a little puzzled when he suddenly grabbed the mic and did a cover of, er, Cyndi Lauper’s "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."
