Tom Hanks saved the day for a bride-to-be by helping her cross a busy movie set to reach the altar in Rome, according to a report.
A woman heading for wedded bliss at a chapel found her path obstructed by Hollywood stars and a film crew busy shooting "Angels and Demons," the prequel to "The Da Vinci Code" movie, Hellomagazine.com reported.
Hanks broke from shooting to dash to the rescue of the maiden by offering his arm and leading her and her father to the church, according to the report.
The "Forrest Gump" star even helped keep her train from reaching the ground on her way to the Pantheon.
