Body Found Dumped in New Orleans Trash Bin

NEW ORLEANS – Police are investigating the death of a person who was found inside of a trash bin in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans.

Police say the body was found late Thursday night.

The body and the garbage bin were taken to the coroner's office, where an autopsy was to be performed to determine the cause of death.

There was no word on how long the body was in the bin.
