SEAN HANNITY, HOST: The Hollywood elite love to say they are so concerned about global warming. Now, they give concerts. They make movies and star in public service announcements - all in the name of saving the planet. But their private lives, well that tells a very different story.

(voice over): In Hollywood, saving the planet is the ultimate cause celebre. Dozens of high-profile actors and musicians have made it their mission to repeat the hysterics of "climate expert" Al Gore and tell the rest of us how we should live.
But just like the vanquished vice president, "green" celebrities don't always practice the way they preach. Now, here's a list of some of Hollywood's worst global-warming hypocrites:
LEONARDO DICAPRIO, ACTOR: Global warming that has taken much of our attention as it should.
HANNITY: First up, there's the actor Leonardo "The Lear Jet Liberal" DiCaprio. Now, he's done his absolute best to frighten people about the horrors of global warming. His documentary, "The 11th Hour," utilized Hollywood scare tactics to urge people to change their wasteful ways before it's too late.
DiCaprio says he does his part by driving a hybrid, using solar energy, and "trying as often as possible" to "fly commercially." But so far, he won't pledge to completely give up the convenience and the glamour of those private jets.
And then there's Babs — that's Barbara Streisand. Now, he posted on her extremely accurate and perfectly spelled Web site, an article called, "Simple Things We Can All Do To Help Stop Global Warming." And that list includes suggestions like turning off the lights, eating organic and buying recycled.

Now let's see how her tour demands stack up in the fight against global warming. The contract rider on Streisand's recent European tour specified that the singer needed thirteen 53-foot semi-tractor trailers, four rental vans, 14 crew and van buses and one limousine, of course, that was for her, the star. The green goddess also needed 120 bath sized towels and only peach colored bathroom tissue and rose petals in the toilet. Need I say more?
And let's not forget Madonna. Well, she graced the cover of Vanity Fair's "Green Issue" this year, but she may have been miscast. It's been reported that her "Ray of Light" foundation has invested at least $2.7 million in environmentally unfriendly companies like Alcoa, the Ford Motor Company and other businesses criticized by all the global warming alarmists.
And Madonna's carbon footprint — well, that's no better. In 2006, it is estimated that the Material Girl's private jet usage racked up about 100 times more carbon dioxide than the average person. And it doesn't include her fleet of cars. Mama, please don't preach.
Next up is the jet setting couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Now, Brad has been quoted as saying "There are a lot of problems in the world right now because of our dependency on oil." But it looks like he and Angelina — well, they're more dependent than most. According to The Daily Mail, in 2007 alone, "Brangelina" literally crisscrossed the globe in private jets dozens of times. Now, is that really necessary?
And then finally, there's actor John Travolta. Now he's the owner of no less than five, that's right — five private jets and still has the nerve to ask his fans to do their part to save the environment. At the red carpet event to promote his blockbuster movie, "Wild Hogs," Travolta said we should all do our part because "global warming is a very valid issue."
(CLIP FROM "WILD HOGS" FEATURING JOHN TRAVOLTA, ACTOR:) Whoo! It's my prerogative.
HANNITY: There you have it. Looks like in Hollywood, global warming activism is just a load of hype, and the celebrities are quick to tell everyone else how to live. You know what? They are nothing more than a bunch of hot air hypocrites.
