A mother has been sentenced to at least 30 years in prison for setting a fire at her family's Dayton-area home that killed her two young children.
Judge Michael Tucker on Wednesday ordered Heather Silverman, 25, to serve two 15-year-to-life terms. The sentences will be served consecutively.
The sentence was part of a plea agreement reached last month. Silverman had pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and three counts of aggravated arson.
Four-month-old Keylee Silverman was killed in the July 2006 fire in the Dayton suburb of West Carrollton. Her brother, Mikel Silverman, 4, died later at a hospital.
