Robbery at Chicago McDonald's Leaves One Shot to Death, 3 Injured

Police say one person was killed and three others wounded during a robbery attempt at a McDonald's restaurant on Chicago's South Side.

Police spokeswoman Amina Greer says the shootings occurred just after 7:30 p.m. Monday, but it wasn't clear if the robbery attempt occurred in the restaurant or the parking lot.

Fire Department spokesman Joe Roccasalva says the dead man was a 28-year-old who was shot in the chest. He was dead on arrival at Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center.

Roccasalva says a 24-year-old man was shot in the head and a 26-year-old man was shot in the upper chest and back.

Roccasalva says another man in his 20s was found with a gunshot wound, but details weren't immediately available.
