Gwyneth Paltrow tells Vogue magazine in their May issue she battled post-partum depression in 2006 after her second child Moses was born, USMagazine.com reported.

“I didn’t know I had it until after it was over," the 35-year-old actress said. "I just didn’t know what was wrong with me. I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down ... I felt pessimistic.”

Paltrow thinks scaling back from her pre-baby treatments like acupuncture added to her depression, USMagazine reports.

The actress also limited her career after having her first child, daughter, Apple, 4, and Moses, 2.
