SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The man charged in a Snyder County homicide tried to melt down the gun used in the slaying, authorities said.
Travis Graham, 26, of Richfield was arrested Monday at a state police barracks, police said. He's charged in the March 22 slaying of Jeffery Stock, 46, of Richfield.
District Attorney Michael Sholley told reporters Tuesday that Graham had been dating Stock's stepdaughter and got into an argument with her.
After that, Graham got his rifle, parked across the road from Stock's home, and shot Stock as he was smoking on his porch, Sholley said.
Graham later tried to melt the gun with a torch, Sholley said. The remains of that gun have been recovered.
