A man who plead guilty to running over and killing an 8-year-old boy on a go-cart will spend six years in prison.

Thirty-two-year-old Sean Daniels received his sentence Friday during a hearing in which family members played a music video showing pictures of 8-year-old Quinton Von Duyke. Duyke died after being hit by Daniels' pickup last year in Westminster. Duyke's 10-year-old brother Kaeden was also struck but he survived. He called Daniels a "murderer" before he was sentenced.

Daniels was charged with leaving the scene, tampering with physical evidence and failure to report the accident.

Daniels said through a statement read by his attorney that he was "not some kind of monster." Daniels also apologized to the boys' family.
