A court in southern Greece has sentenced a farmer and his 74-year-old father to life in prison for the murder of five hunters following a dispute over use of their farmland.
The murdered hunters, two brothers and three cousins aged 17 to 33 were found Nov. 25, 2006 near Agrinio, 175 miles northwest of Athens. They had been shot with a semiautomatic weapon.
A court in the southern town of Aegio on Thursday handed Dionysis Foukas, 38, and his father Lysimachos Foukas, 74, five life terms each for the killings.
