At least 27 people were killed when their tour bus crashed in southwestern Iran, according to state television.
Tuesday's report said that 14 others were injured in the crash, four of them critically.
The bus was filled with a group of teachers touring sites from the Iran-Iraq war, according to local witness Khodadad Abdollahi. He said the bus hit a truck and tumbled into a valley.
The crash occurred Monday evening on the road linking Dehdez to Izeh, some 280 miles southwest of the capital, Tehran.
Iran has one of the worst road safety records in the world. More than 26,000 people lose their lives in road accidents every year.
The high death toll is blamed on unsafe vehicles, disregard for traffic rules and inadequate emergency services.
