Firefighters in Los Angeles are battling a blaze that is consuming a five-story condominium complex that has been under construction in the San Fernando Valley.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says more than 100 firefighters are on the scene of the Monday morning blaze and more firefighters are on the way.

Humphrey has told KTTV-TV the fire is in the top floor of the building but that the structure will likely be a complete loss.

No injuries have been reported.
