FOX News entertainment correspondent Jill Dobson covered her first Academy Awards this weekend. What did she wear? Whom did she meet? Below is an account of her experiences:

Sunday, 2/24, 7:55 p.m. Interviewed George Clooney, John Travolta, Cameron Diaz, Heidi Klum and Seal, Steve Carrell, Jessica Alba and many, many more! And Diddy gave me a big smooch on the cheek! What a night! Thanks, FOX News, for giving me the opportunity to cover my first Academy Awards! It was an amazing experience I'll never forget. Now THIS is a great day at work!

Sun., 2/24, 3:15 p.m. We're about to interview Oscar chef Wolfgang Puck at 5:35pmET. After that, the celeb arrivals will begin! We'll also be LIVE at 7:35 pm ET... plus streaming on the Web. Oh, I have my gown on now — strapless red Carmen Marc Valvo — I love it! Hope you do, too!

Sun., 2/24, 9:10 a.m. I'm blogging from our trailer WHILE getting my hair done. It's rainy here, so no Veronica Lake waves today, sadly! Goodbye Hollywood glamour, hello practical bun! We're LIVE on Fox News at 12:50 p.m. ET and 1:50 p.m. ET, so my producer Ashley is scrambling to find Jessica Alba video for our next hit, since I plan to talk about the lovely Ms. Alba on-air. It's time for me to go write my scripts... and wash the hairspray off my Blackberry, since this blogging-during-hairstyling idea turned out to be a kinda sticky choice. See you on the Oscar red carpet!

Sun., 2/24, 7:15 a.m. Oscar day has arrived! We'll be LIVE on the red carpet throughout the day, plus from 6-8pm ET we'll be streaming video of all our interviews (and behind-the-scenes chaos) here on FOXNews.com. I can't wait to talk to the A-list nominees, presenters and performers! Wonder who is more excited today, the nominees...or me??

Sat., 2/22, 11 a.m. My producer Ashley and I covered the most fun story last night! We're doing a report on how some people crave the fabulous celeb lifestyle so much, they're going to extreme lengths to replicate the star experience. I decided that the always hard-working Ashley deserved some (fleeting) fame, so we called up "Celeb 4 a Day," a company that provides photographers to follow you around, screaming your name, paparazzi-style.

As the flashbulbs popped and the photographers yelled, "Ashley, have you lost weight?" the reactions of passersby were priceless! People stopped, stared, snapped pictures and asked each other, "Who is she?"

Click here for Ashley's description of the experience, and check out the photos above to see a magazine cover the company made, featuring my amazing producer (and celeb for a day), Ashley Dvorkin!

Sat., 2/23, 6:15 a.m. Just finished my first live report from the Academy Awards red carpet! It was worth it getting up before 4 a.m. I actually woke up before Oscar did. If you look really closely at my photo, there's an Oscar statue behind me — all wrapped up in protective coverings... kinda makes me miss my comforter! But I'm thrilled to be giving the pre-show predictions today. Tune in to FOX News for more at 12:30 ET and 1:55 ET this afternoon!

Fri., 2/22, 1:30 p.m. As you may know, this is my first trip to the Oscars, because earlier in my career I was always working on the wrong coast or covering the wrong beat. But now I'm here, and learning lots of new things... the hard way! For instance, I made what shall heretofore be known as Oscar Rookie Mistake No. 1 when I picked up my credentials yesterday. I went straight from the plane to the Academy Awards headquarters at the Kodak Theatre to pick up my red carpet pass.

I flew in from New York with bedhead and zero makeup. Then we arrived at the Kodak Theatre and it was swarming with all my colleagues. I chatted with all my West Coast counterparts, feeling a little pale and bedraggled for what shall heretofore be known as Entertainment Journalist Reunion '08. Then, the Oscar organizers told me they needed to take my picture for the credential! So now, my one souvenir from the Academy Awards is an all-access pass featuring me in all my bedhead glory. Sigh.

Fri., 2/22, 9:30 a.m. Time to get to work! My producer Ashley and I are doing fun Oscar preview stories (Who will win? What will they wear?) for FOX News Channel today — with LIVE hits possibly during "Cavuto," "Fox Report" and maybe "Big Story.

We also plan to do a couple of LIVE reports on Fox Business today on all the business angles (movie budgets, ad sales, etc.) of the Academy Awards — starting at 2:20 p.m. ET.

Between hits, we'll interview some fashion experts and we also have a fun paparazzi story up our sleeves. More on that later! In the meantime, tune into FOX News and FOX Business for our very own Oscar pre-party this afternoon!

Thurs., 2/21, 4:55 p.m. My producer Ashley and I made it to L.A.! We strolled out of LAX with our oversized shades on, because that's how we roll in Hollywood! Check out my garment bag —my mysterious gown is inside! Next up, we'll work on some pre-Oscar stories and pick up our red-carpet credentials for Sunday!

Thurs., 2/21, 5:15 a.m. Starting the day early — time to finish packing and head to the airport. FOX meteorologist Janice Dean tells me a winter storm is coming, so I'm getting out of New York just in time! The good news is, I picked an Oscar gown yesterday! What do you think I chose? Pink? Black? Red? Gold? Tune in Sunday for the big reveal!

Weds., 2/20, 5 p.m. The Academy Awards are Sunday night, so right now it's time to try on Oscar dresses! I've got it narrowed down to a few gowns from top designers Nicole Miller, Reem Acra and Carmen Marc Valvo. I'll have to decide soon — my producer and I leave the Big Apple tomorrow.

I've been a reporter for seven years, but this is actually my first trip to the Academy Awards! In previous years, I was always either covering hard news, or on the wrong coast. I'm so excited to finally head to the big show! Hollywood, here I come!
