Avondale police say two young children thought to have been abducted by their father Monday have been found safe.
Spokeswoman Amy Bolton did not have further details, but she says police are still looking for the children's father, 32-year-old Jesus Gallardo.
An Amber Alert for the children was canceled after they were found with their 27-year-old mother and her 23-year-old brother, who also were allegedly kidnapped.
The children were identified as 6-year-old Monica Gonzales and 5-year-old Jose Gonzales.
Gallardo has tattoos on both arms, and police say he's armed with a black handgun and two magazines. They say he has made threats to use deadly force against law enforcement.
He was last seen driving a 2006 red Dodge Ram pickup with Arizona license plate 448-WMX. The truck has tinted windows and there are two silver horses pictured in the back window.
Anyone seeing the pickup or suspect is urged to call 911.
