Updated

Matthew Perry may have been a popular superstar in his "Friends" days, but the actor appeared to be a little lost at W magazine's swanky "Hollywood Affair" bash on Wednesday night.

Pop Tarts spotted Perry roaming through the clusters of classy ladies all alone ... although he did use those "screen" skills to "look for his friends" while standing right by the Chantelle lingerie display table. Funny that.

"American Idol" judge Paula Abdul also made an appearance with her beau, JJ, and in crazy Paula fashion proceeded to pose for pics and remind every lass in earshot that they were beautiful ... awww.

New York model/socialite/heiress Lydia Hearst was also spotted sporting an interesting ponytail piece ... has Britney's "weaving" ways finally affected even high-caliber women?

Ellen Page Rejects Heidi Klum

Supermodel Heidi Klum has teamed up with her friends/employees at Victoria's Secret and sent some "Very Sexy" makeup and lingerie to this year's Oscar nominees for Best Actress — all but one, that is.

"Heidi and Ellen Page get along great, so it certainly isn't anything personal as to why Ellen didn't want the gift pack," an insider told Pop Tarts. "Ellen just feels uncomfortable with the whole swag thing — it isn't her style."

Speaking of rejection, reps for Paris Hilton also told us that rumors flying about the "Simple Life" starlet being banned from the big awards on Sunday are just that — rumors.

Diamond Girls: Diablo Cody's $2.5 Million Dollar Feet

"Juno" writer Diablo Cody may spend most of her days seated, but the Oscar nominee will finally have her chance to walk tall at the Kodak on Sunday as the true belle of the ball.

For the seventh consecutive year, accessories designer Stuart Weitzman has selected one stylish star to don diamond shoes to Hollywood's night of nights — with the likes of "Dreamgirl" Anika Noni Rose and Regina King previously taking the honors.

On Friday morning at his brand-new Rodeo Drive store, Weitzman unveiled 2008's sensational stiletto and announced Cody as 2008's (very) lucky lady.

The metallic champagne-colored shoe features a retro flower made from solidly from 25-carat Kwiat diamonds — but it seems the "Juno" writer will be treated with "twins."

"Cody wanted something in the vein of a 1940s dancing shoe, so we hope this brings her good luck," Weitzman told Pop Tarts. "But she isn't really a high-heeled girl, so she's going to kick these off after the red carpet and put on some ballerina flats instead. This is the first time we've done a change of shoe."

We've also heard whispers that last year's Best Actress Helen Mirren is in talks to wear a Natalie K Diamonds million-dollar hair accessory to the Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday.

But apparently, Kimora Lee Simmons is also after the precious piece — so it will be claws out for our leading ladies. Stay tuned.

George Clooney Is a Jelly Belly

Well, he has been made to look like one, anyway. Oscar nominee George Clooney can now join the likes of Larry King and former President Ronald Reagan as the new face of Jelly Belly.

Pop Tarts snuck a peek at the 4x4 portrait at the Roger Neal Oscars Lounge, in which the "Michael Clayton" star has been brought to life with more than 10,000 of the famously flavored candies.

"We're hoping to present it to Clooney this week," a company rep told Pop Tarts. "We'd like to offer it to him and hopefully donate proceeds to a charity of his choice."

No word from Clooney's camp just yet as to whether he wants to wake up every day in his house to see himself with "root beer" hair and "strawberry daiquiri" lips.
