A man who went missing at the Middlesex County Jail this week has been found — in the ductwork of the facility.
Warden Edmund Cicchi told WNBC that they believed Timothy Petties was in the ducts all along, but could not find him in two days of searching.
He turned up at 7:15 a.m. Thursday — with some injuries, Cicchi said.
The 20-year-old inmate was in the jail awaiting trial for aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
He was gone on Tuesday morning when there was a headcount of inmates.
